When I click on the start up file from the zip download, I only get one window not the two discussed. Nothing happens and so far I have not been able to get off the ground

Can you please extract the zip folder first you downloaded and then start the batch file?
On Windows, you must have an improved ZIP manager installed such as 7-zip or WinRAR. This is because the standard windows ZIP support will not be able to handle the large amount of files in the distribution.
If it doesn’t work after that , can you please go to the elasticsearch folder and check the logs folder which has a file name as siren-distribution.log and share the error.
