Access Control Community vs Enterprise

Hi Guys,

Just wanted to quickly double check if the Community Edition really doesn’t give you options for access control (creating users, assign/manage permissions etc) since it doesn’t give you the ‘Access Control’ tab and you’re stuck with 1 user with all granted permissions. I noticed this difference when we reverted back from Enterprise to Community.

Thank you so much!

Hi Edgar,

Yes the Community Edition doesn’t give an options for access control. You need to apply the Siren license to have this worked.

Hi @Manu_Agarwal thank you - so they have the comparison list?
For example is extracting entities service like Rosoka possible in the community edition? There are more features that will pop up as I go along that’s why its more beneficial to have an exhaustive list.

Hi there,

Yes it’s possible as using json-ws to call the service to extract the entities.

There are some limitation on community edition license on the Graph browser while expanding the nodes more then 500 nodes and number of dashboards. Apart from it limitation on concurrent user and session as well.

If you are looking to have the trial license please feel free reach to our sales team sales@siren.io we will be happy to assist and provide a trail license for usage.
