Can't create 360 Dashboard

Hi,

I’m using the 10.5 release and working through the “Siren Get Started Tutorial”. When attempting to create a “Dashboard 360” dashboard it appears as thought the step to access other Entity indexes is not working when pressing the “+” icon on the lower right of the generated image. Please advise on how to get around this issue or more robust instructions.

Thanks,

Rich

Hi Rich,

“Dashboard 360” feature which allows you to visualize data across different tables(searches) and apply filters coherently across visualizations using a dashboard (or use case) specific data model.

To have this visualization into the dashboard, create a new dashboard and add the visualization into it from the corresponding tables search lets say from companies and Investment.

Once the Visualization is added or created in the new dashboard . Please follow these steps:

  1. Click Edit Button —> Click Data Model
  2. Select the Radio Button Dashboard 360 .
  3. Click on Add Main Search
  4. Select the Single Search from the list.
  5. Click on ‘0’ to add the visualization into the Main search which was added into the dashboard earlier.
  6. Click on ‘+’ button to add associative search for other tables.

Attached is the snapshot for reference.

Also In order to have the Entities indexes connected with a relation you should create a data model for it like we have this in our Sample Demo data.

Hi Rich,

I missed the version you mentioned,as you are doing this in Siren 10.5 version then there is a bug in which the plus button is not working when you need to add the nodes from model.

For this fix 10.5.1 will be releasing soon. However, you can test this feature in 10.4 or 10.4.1 version for time being till we have 10.5.1 released.

Hi Manu,
