We are excited to announce the new release - Siren Federate 24.0, compatible with the Elasticsearch 7.12.0 release. This release includes the following improvements, fixes, and security enhancements:

Enhancements:

- Introduced better control over the job throttling on a cluster-wide level
- Upgraded to Elasticsearch version 7.12.0

Breaking changes:

- Initial compatibility of runtime fields for string types (keyword and ip) with the hash join

Bug fixes:

- Siren Federate’s search lock mechanism now generates a compatible Point-In-Time identifier

- Fixed a deadlock scenario that could occur when a data upload had failed
